All Moved In

Hello Everyone,

We are all moved into our new rental home in Peoria, Illinois.  It is a very nice little place in a great location.  It has three small bedrooms, one bathroom, but a large finished basement.  That basement really makes it a perfect place.  The landlords also left a few pieces of furniture for us to use which is such a blessing. We are very grateful for kind neighbors, a fenced in back yard, and for a great home office in the basement, a quiet place to work.  We are also grateful to be in a place so close to old friends and still within reach of family.

Emily already had the opportunity to join her old friend at a worship camp.  She worked on her singing and was taught about worship, leading worship, and walking closer with God.  Harold Greene did a great job!  Laura is getting things ready for home school to start up again.  Annika and Sam are also doing well.  Annika is very happy to have her own room (sam is our new roommate).

September 1st is when I move to part time work for SEND.  We are still seeking for and praying about the best part time job to fit our situation.  Please be praying about that with us.  This week holds a couple of job interviews.

The second biggest prayer request right now is finances to make up our home service deficit.  We had to use $1800 from our savings to finish visit supporting churches in Maryland and Chicago along with newsletters, etc.  Now that we are going to part time work it will be very important to  have this money back in our saving account.  Please pray with us about this.  If you can give to help that would be great.  You can do so by following this link.  Please be sure to indicate in the note section that it is for home service expenses.
Another way you can assist us is to share this link with other like minded believers.  http://carlsons.info/report/

Thanks so much!

Daryl for the Carlson Family.

I am very thankful that it seems like the move went well. My prreyas will be with everyone at REHOPE these coming days as the search continues for something permanent. Listened to the last few weeks of messages on my Ipod here in Seattle and very thankful that even during these trials, your focus remains on the Lord. With continued strength may all of you press on toward the goal In Christ,Mark
